Bohemian is an ethnicity. I’ve said it before, I’m a self proclaimed boho kinda girl. I absolutely love creating style on a shoestring string budget or cast-offs from others. Unconventional creative style has always been an interest of mine. I’m a modern bohemian woman who’s very comfortable with her style. It’s not a style for everyone. I get flack from my husband and son sometimes for loving the chic boho look or boho inspired clothing and accessories. Don’t get me wrong, I looooove being just as modern or up-to-date as the next but If I had to choose my two top favorite looks will always be 70′s or boho inspired

I use to get pretty upset when I hear people say to me, “you don’t have on 2 things that match” and my response always is, “why does every freakin thing have to match!?” I like my home and what I wear to look like ME!!! I don’t go to ROOMS To Go and pick out MATCHING SETS of furniture just to bring it home to look like something out of the catalog…I’m not impressed. Pick out pieces that tells me who you are, style it in a way that makes me say “wow” and then I’ll say, “that’s impressive.”
So you can keep your money and all your fancy clothing because today and tomorrow I’ll continue to indulge in my eclectic personal style, my ethnic bohemian prints and hippy attire, headbands, locs, etc. Love it or hate it, I’m an ethnic woman forever embracing a hobo style. FREE to be me
