Thrown Away

My look today is basically a stretch spandex type fabic mini dress over a long denim skirt. I’m a firm believer that just because you can get in it doesn’t mean you should get in it. KNOW YOUR BODY and what look good on it. I have a very thin, straight up and down body frame, which I LOOOVE! and for those of you who think I need to gain weight PISS ON YOU! this is MY BODY! Like it or @#%$ OFF! If I’m not what you desire…keep it moving!

Anyway, like I was saying, not all spandex is bad but this particular piece wasn’t flattering as a standalone outfit. With the Fall/Winter season I bring out my long denim skirts. Denim can be dated but with anything it’s all in how you wear it.

As a photographer I never leave the house without my camera and today reminded me just why I do that. While I was driving, I noticed a large open field with a long paved road that seemed to go for miles. My first thoughts were, “the open field and great light would be a great place to shoot one day.” As I drove down the road I saw a few old dresser drawers discarded off on the side, perfectly stacked, just waiting for me. I pulled off to the side, got out to get a closer look and thought “I’ll just snapped a couple of pictures.”

So there you have it, thrown away, discarded dresser drawers and a nice open field made a pretty nice backdrop for this spur-of-the-moment snap decision.
